What is a Suprion?

The Suprion is a revolutionary water treatment product which prevents the formation of scale in hot and cold water systems.  As well as preventing the build-up of scale, the installation of a Suprion will gradually breakdown any scale which has previously formed, without the use of harmful chemicals.
The Suprion does not need a power supply, and comes in a range of sizes to fit pipes from 10mm to 450mm (3/8" to 18").

What are the benefits?

• Scale prevention and removal starts the moment the water system is restarted after installation of the Suprion
• The charged water molecules ‘mop up’ free oxygen, reducing the level of rusting in a closed system
• The bacterial colonies which exist as slime in water systems are dissolved and prevented from re-forming
• The removal of scale prevents wear and tear on mechanical components such as pumps and valves
• As scale is an insulator, its removal from heating elements and heat exchangers results in the system running more economically

How does Suprion work?

Suprion prevents the precipitation of scale molecules by creating and strengthening electrostatic bonds.  This affects the scale-forming substances CaCO₃ and MgCO₃, the ions of CA⁺⁺, Mg⁺⁺, and CO₃^--.

When water flows through the plastic pipe in the Suprion, an electrostatic field is created inside.  The water flowing through the chamber is also passing through the field.  The charge strengthens the bonds with the water molecules, and the charged water molecules gradually exfoliate existing scale deposits.
